Windsor Machine & Stamping 2009 LTD "World Renowned Manufacturer of Automotive Muffler Hangers, Seat Rods and other Long Headed Rods and Bent Wire Forms" needed to consolidate its facilities in Windsor Ontario Canada. The Biditup team coordinated both Canadian sites and conducted a very successful Webcast theatre style auction sale. There were buyers from all over the world to bid on the over 400 items. BIU provided logistical rigging, trucking and export services to assist in worldwide transportation of the assets. They fulfilled their financial obligations as promised and we were very pleased with the outcome.

In conjunction with Heritage Global Partners and Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers, an online sale was conducted and all items were sold from multiple locations in a very short time frame. We are pleased with the outcome of the online sale with BIDITUP Auctions Worldwide. We had a surplus of analytical chemistry equipment and several liquidators contacted us but we chose BIDITUP because they provided the highest guarantees on return. Our auction was successful and their marketing attracted buyers from all over the world. They honored our agreement, from payment of proceeds, report of sale and documentation to the removal of the assets. And they communicated with us every step of the way. We would not hesitate to work with the BIDITUP group and appreciate their expert knowledge and assistance.
BIDITUP in conjunction with the Harry Davis Company acquired the former assets of Coty, US LLC. Coty was a manufacturer of personal care products in Rocky Point, North Carolina. The Davis & BIDITUP team did a terrific job in following through with the a multi-million dollar cash payment to Coty and the removal of the assets. The auction was live with on site with Internet bidding. The building was full of buyers on the day of the sale and the auctioneers conducted the sale very professionally and the crowd was very engaged and bid with enthusiasm. The removal process went very smooth for such complexity. A job well done!
We worked with BIDITUP to acquire late model Haas equipment, accessories and tooling for online auction sale. They completed the auction and did everything they said they would including removing all assets out of the building in less than 30 days. We would gladly recommend BIDITUP in the future.
BIDITUP acquired certain off lease repossessed assets from storage in Newark, California. BIDITUP moved those assets to its warehouse in Huntington Park, CA and conducted an auction sale. The sale was very well attended from buyers throughout North America and the auction was very well organized.
BIDITUP competed amongst several international competitors and was ultimately chosen to conduct the receivership auction sale of Satisfied Brake based on their guarantee and experience in the market place. The sale consisted of about 800 lots of automotive brake making machines and tooling. BIDITUP brought buyers from all over the world. The set-up of the auction was extremely professional and the conduct of the auction was very exciting, created enthusiasm and very good results for the estate. BIDITUP is a great company to work with.
BIDITUP works miracles! We had a very difficult landlord charging us $35,000 per month. BIDITUP said it could complete the job in 30 days without sacrificing value. They did the job in record time and the proceeds far exceeded our expectations. The equipment was removed and the keys handed over to the landlord on the 30th day as promised. We highly recommend BIDITUP and would not hesitate to use them on any projects in the future.
Regarding the Auction - Formerly of Scott Brass Inc.
BIDITUP acquired all the assets of Scott brass including 2 buildings totaling over 200,000 square feet and all of the rolling mill and casting equipment. It was a very complex project including the foreclosure of the secured party’s notes. BIDITUP's team was a pleasure to work with and was extremely well versed in the legal aspects of the transaction and completed the sales of the real properties and equipment flawlessly. For large complicated transaction, BIU is top on our list.
We consigned some used equipment to BIDITUP to sell at their auction warehouse in Huntington Park , California , they exceeded our expectations, paid timely and would use them again without hesitation.
I would like to commend BIDITUP Auctions for their exceptional industrial auction and real estate services. Our company, Advance Pierre Foods, negotiated with several auction companies to sell our machinery and real estate and ultimately chose BIU. They fulfilled our agreement beyond our expectations and were timely and attentive to all of our needs in dealing with a very complex transaction. We appreciate their expertise and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.
In 2008, our company had the difficult task of closing down a glass manufacturing plant in Fullerton, CA. Some equipment was transferred to our other manufacturing locations, but surplus equipment was destined for the scrap pile. After contacting BIDITUP in Studio City, CA, the representative explained their on-line auctioning services and requested an equipment list. Later, he met me at the site to inspect the equipment. I was pleased that he found a couple other pieces of value that we had ignored.
We signed a simple consignment agreement and BIDITUP started to work. After the bidding process ended, the new buyers of the surplus equipment came by the site to pick up the items. About 50 days after signing the agreement, we were pleased to obtain a complete report and return. Overall, this was an easy process. BIDITUP upheld everything they promised and the results were fantastic.
My perspective, is that your group - from our initial meetings with Glen, through the onsite work by Joe, to our discussions with you - is outstanding. I wish all the people I worked with had the same level of timeliness and competency.
Your experience and knowledge made the decision to liquidate much easier.
I appreciated your input from the start and you will be the first I contact if the need ever presents itself in the future.
Thanks again for your help
There are so many people who call themselves professionals, even though most of them are not qualified as professionals. When my brother-in-law passed away suddenly, I was thrown into the business of heavy machinery that I am not familiar with at all. When BIDITUP was introduced to me through a friend, I was very skeptical about everything, including auctioning off what my brother-in-law had built up during the past fifteen years of his life. BidItUp made the asset purchase offer. I think it was very fair, and I took it on behalf of my brother-in-law’s family because I did not want them to go through the auctioning off ordeal.
As I watched BIDITUP prepare the whole auctioning process, I knew that I was in good hands, and I saw how they were truly professional the auctioneers were, as well as the office staff. BIDITUP took care of my family when we really needed the most help. Furthermore, they assured and provided financial stability to my family. I strongly recommend BIDITUP to anyone who needs to auction off heavy equipment because their knowledge is second to none, and they are true professionals.
BIU produced results that were favorable to the creditors and the payout exceeded expectations. That’s what it’s all about.
I have known the individuals at BIDITUP for over 15 years. I have both represented them in transactions as well as used them to acquire assets of my clients both in and out of bankruptcy. I find that the personnel at BIDITUP are both knowledgeable about the values that can be obtained for equipment and real estate. They are currently either the top bidder for the equipment or have forced the final bidder to go higher.
They are professional in the way they conduct sales. The sales are well advertised and have the most current technology to produce the highest return. They are very good at bringing the property back into the broom clean shape with out any damage caused by their being on site.
I would and have recommended them on numerous occasions to be the auctioneer of choice in various transactions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks to you and your team of professionals, we have managed a successful wind-down and liquidation of our precision tooling business. Prior to meeting you, we had good reason to believe that the value of our equipment was greater than the ongoing business. However, you created and executed a plan that exceeded our expectations for financial recovery, and we thank you.
We were particularly grateful that your approach enabled our ownership team to remain in control of our business as we converted work-in-process to finished good prior to the sale of our equipment. This was an important element in our overall financial recovery.
BIDITUP's team did a great job preparing our shop for the sale, and the organization on sale day was truly remarkable. The advance marketing of our sale resulted in a large and diverse group of prospective buyers on auction day. Your experience in handling the auction process brought home a winner for all of us.
In summary, we are very pleased that we partnered up with BIDITUP and would not hesitate to recommend your services. Please thank all of your associates for a job well done.
BIDITUP has always preformed in a very professional manner and has been extremely responsive to our needs when I was with APW and again since I've been here with Honda R&D. Having worked with several equipment brokers I can honestly say BIDITUP is the first I call when I need a quick response time for any equipment and asset sale I come across.
Everyone from your organization was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful with the process from start to finish.
I routinely sell equipment at my place of business and have had a couple auctions over the many years. The auction conducted by BIDITUP was the most profitable and required the least amount of time investment by my employees to prepare. Throughout the entire process, the BIDITUP staff was more professional, courteous, and well-organized. The auction progressed in an orderly efficient manner with absolutely no negative matters arising out of the auction. Payment was prompt, and the BIDITUP staff stayed on site for many days afterward to oversee the removal of the machinery and equipment. I am also pleased to state that no negative issues developed during the removal process either. I would and will use BBIDITUP in the future when selling/auctioning excess machinery and equipment.
I am pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for BIDITUP based upon the excellent experience that Great Dane has enjoyed with you and your company over the past seven years. BIDITUP performed two auctions of machinery and equipment at Great Dane's plants during this time frame, one very large and another more modest. We were happy with sales proceeds that we received in both instances, the flexible deal terms that you quoted, and the professionalism of your staff in preparing for and carrying out the auction, and the handling of the subsequent equipment pickup logistics. You have also been very helpful to us in brainstorming excess asset valuations and disposal strategies, even in those cases when we choose a different disposal path. When Great Dane has an asset disposition issue, you are the first party that we contact, and we are presently in discussions with you re our third machinery and equipment auction. Repeat business with your customers is the ultimate proof of an excellent vendor.
With respect to asset disposition and loss recovery, it is very rare these days to engage a service provider such as BIDITUP that seems to consistently meet our extraordinarily high standards with respect to initiating, monitoring and completing a public sale or other form of asset disposition. BIDITUP, Steve Mattes, and his team, not only consistently meet our expectations, they often exceed them. I have found their services to be dependable, friendly and totally transparent. Moreover, their often aggressive and competitive approach to the auction process itself has resulted in a number of spirited events and increased recoveries. Finally, BIDITUP's attention to detail, particularly in the proper and orderly exit of a third party facility upon completion of an event, as well as their willingness to address my client’s needs are extremely important to the conduct of my business and essential to maintaining continuing relationships with my constituents and referral sources who rely on me to manage their overall liquidation process.
Our corporation has been doing business with BIDITUP/Industrial Assets for over 20 years. They are very professional in the way they handle an auction from the first estimate, day of the auction to final settlement. Our group has done six auctions with this company with no regrets.
The BIDITUP auction was a great success based on the phone calls that we shared. We shared figures which delighted both them and me. It was much more than either of us ever imagined.
Bernard Limbertos was an important element to the successes of the physical set-up. During the Buyer's pick-up days, he was extremely organized in the auction preparation and set-up; he remained focused and self-managed; he gained all of our trust and acceptance within the first day. Then, yet again he was relaxed and easy going during the buyer’s pick-up. We experienced no negative feedback or dissatisfied customers during his time in our Plant. Carlisle was fortunate that Bernard was assigned to our auction. We've personally thanked him and expressed our appreciation. However, please share our expressions with your peers and owners, in our behalf.
All of the auctioned items were removed from the Vancouver Plant on or before Tuesday, July 27th. However, it is my understanding that the buyers were invoiced and were required to pay or guarantee payment before pick up, and to the best of my knowledge only 12 lots of the 310 lots did not sell. This is another point of success; we had very little to scrap.
It has been my pleasure meeting and working with you; it has also been an interesting experience, and I must say that I am glad it is your profession and not mine.
